ELSYAN “MIKE” HUSTON, 82 years old of Silver Lake, WI passed away Saturday June 16, 2012 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. She was born Feb. 18, 1930 in Escanaba; MI. Mike was a graduate of Austin High School and had attended Eureka College for two years. She was a talented interior decorator and had worked at the Decorating Den in Kenosha and Railtons Furniture in Lake Geneva. She was one of the Godey Girls operating a clothing store in Wilmot, WI and Antioch, IL. Mike had operated the Michaels Manor Nursing Home in Silver Lake, which was started by her parents. She was a talented water color painter, loved gardening and cooking and was often seen at the Monday Stage Stop Birthday Club. On March 18, 1949 she married William “Bill” Huston in Peoria, IL.

Survivors include her husband Bill; three sons, Murphy (Carol) Huston of Denver CO, Patrick Huston of Lake Geneva, WI and Kelly (Patti) Huston of Silver Lake, WI; six grandchildren, Sam (Sarah) Huston, Carrie (Lee) Hogan, Haley (Paul) Evans, Elizabeth (Josh) Suter, Lindsey and Tyler Huston; four Great grandchildren, Sadie, Caelee, Greyson and Hudson.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St, (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL. Info 800 662 4441.
